Matthew developed and previously co-coordinated the Justice & Society Learning Community in the Department of Criminal Justice at Wayne State University and is currently an instructor for the Department’s Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program at the Detroit Reentry Center. In 2014, Matthew received the Diversity & Social Justice Award from the Student Government Association at Saint Louis University. In 2016, he was selected as the Learning Community Coordinator of the Year at Wayne State University.
